Moonscoop has heavily invested in the future of entertainment and positioned itself to best capitalize on the production of New Media contents. Moonscoop Digital Media monitors a cutting-edge new media facilities located near Paris and Los Angeles where the future of entertainment is now being developed.

Our main focus right now is to launch new youth-oriented channels covering the needs of all new media platforms such as the Web, IPTV, Mobile and their usages such as Video On Demand and on line gaming. The strength and the quality of Moonscoop’s library and Moonscoop Digital Media technological expertise on all environment, has enabled the company to already establish a foothold as one of today’s leading players in these new sectors.

In the US, Moonscoop launched the youth-oriented entertainment service Kabillion in January 2007. This Emmy Award-winning kids channel targets viewers ages 6-12 and offers both video-on-demand (VOD) and community content for broadcast via digital cable, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and mobile phones. The channel is currently available as a free video on-demand (VOD) channel in over 50% of US digital cable households (and 90% of the top 25 US markets), as well as a free online broadband site (Kabillion.com). Kabillion can be seen by more than 22 million households

In Europe and Asia, Moonscoop Digital Media adapts its products such as Taffy Kids to the specific needs of local markets. This kids’ channel combines various content (Video on demand, interactive games, community content) and is dedicated to all the new media platforms (IPTV, Mobile, cable). The channel is distributed in France by major operators such as SFR and Orange. Taffy kids reaches more than 5 million homes in France. It is also the first triple-content and triple-play channel in the European Union. In Asia, Taffy Kids is already available to millions of mobile users over several countries. Moonscoop Digital Media also publishes new media platforms with other major IP owners.

Additionnally, Moonscoop build a joint-venture with France’s Allocine Group to launch AlloFamille - a company specialising in leisure and entertainment-related web services for children and families.

  • AlloFamille.fr is a community-oriented website dedicated to family leisure offering content designed to engage, inform and assist parents with ideas and helpful advice on leisure activities
  • TaffyKids.fr is a secure, subscription-based kid-oriented entertainment world. This virtual community offers children the opportunity to live exciting and fun adventures through hundreds of hours of kids’ programming, a vast catalogue of music and online games.

Through these initiatives, Moonscoop strategic focus is to redefine and master the rules of kids’ entertainment whatever screens might be on.
